BlAmE it on GOD?! WTF?!!!!
"Why are you stuck in this worldly predicament of yours?" I ask of a friend whom I'd known for long and was stuck in a situation out of which he wasn't able to figure out the cause. And pop comes the reply, "Guess God wants me to go through these things. Its all in my foregone fate!"
How many people realize that we are today, the result of our own decisions. Life's all about choices. We never had choices so umpteen that we get so damn confused extrapolating each choice. Every situation demands a choice that needs to be taken. The need of the hour is proper analysis and deciding on the right, or what may be called a 'feasible' choice and not some frivolous decisions that are made on so called 'their-own-instincts'.
We carry so many attributes with us today. It ranges from a fast track watch to a psychological ego. What can we call it? another stage of evolution? We speak of nanotechnology and the forth coming super intelligence with its after-math. Who has effected these procedures of change? and of all the creatures, we take pride in it! There is so much yet to discover and Man speaks of smarting over God. But as yet he cannot answer certain direct questions that prove the existence of God and rather dislodge the answers to some crappy hypothesis. We are born under a set of paradigms. Paradigms like the earth revolves around the sun, gravitational forces and so on. Man has just discovered these paradigms.... not invented it! if any man can claim that he has invented it... he has just found or discovered it. These paradigms already exist and man is yet to discover only more of these existing protocols.
The paragraph above was just to prove my faith in God and I'm not an atheist for all you know. I believe in God deeply and I'll explain his presence in the due course. I'm also not a person who has some kinda blind faith. I believe God is a scientific concept. I'm a follower of Scientology and this is not one of those "God exists!" sermons, but a reflection of man's dubious nature. But for the purpose of this essay, we'll take it as God Himself.
Now here goes....
We never acknowledge anyone today. Be it a mom who painfully gets up in the morning and prepares a delicious meal and an amazing coffee as soon as you get up. The best you do is yell at her for no reason and ask her where you had kept your deospray!? And yet she serves you day in and day out till she has her last breath,.. and the best of all... she gives you options for your after lunch menu... "Do you want uppuma or dosa dear?" and you yell back saying Mom I'm not a kid! and again yell back in the evening for the dosa that she had kept for you so lovingly. And she makes sure you eat on time by giving you multiple calls at your lunch time asking you to just acknowledge your lunch. You again shout back saying, I'm in the midst of a meeting or some holy crap and bang the phone. Why do you do all this? because you're preoccupied with your own set of haughtiness and idiosyncrasies that lets you take things for granted!
Now God is like this mom... He keeps giving you options and let you decide your life. He calls it the power of free will. Each thing that happens to you today is because of a 'cause-effect' related protocol. And he lets you code your own protocol with loads of options. You either chose or deny every option. And He is the most happiest person since he believes that you can take control of your own life, only to find in due course of time that you start cursing him for the outcomes instead of taking charge of the situation. He gives you umpteen options and let you analyze each one vividly. He also gave you the brains to do it. What do you do?
You choose an option, it succeeds, you say " I did it!"
You choose an option, it fails, you say "God why me?! now WTF?!
and inspite of your curses for your own failures, He still gives you options on the 'D' second. He is never lost of options for you. And you keep on blaming God for your deeds.
We all come across options in our everyday life. Be it life or a product that you decide on buying. The power of free will is such that you decide on these options all by yourself since you become the best judge in judging yourself. We come across an option, the predicament arises when this option is linked with other attribute, such as a person, thing or place. and our decisions affect these attributes. And when it comes to the attribute of a person, it is even more complex. Your decisions affect his/her options, and his/her decisions affect your options. The options are already there, but we fail to see those in the context of a person. And here lies man's major mistake or rather a blooper, where he decides to close his eyes or rather buckles up a hood to his eyes. He always fails to see the larger picture and concentrates on what is there today, this minute and second. I'm not asking anyone to live in the future... I'm asking you to live today and at least think on the future, which most of us fail to do. And people who see this perspective are clear in their vision and thinking. This is one of the secrets which is very essential in decision making.... the ability to visualise a tomorrow with the decision that you take today. If you can do this, you have learnt a vital secret of living.
God wants mankind to live.... not die... and He has been giving all good things to us. The nature of man is such that we test everything thats good, while readily accept something bad. And He gives the options to you with the love and care of a mother and asks you to take your decisions and prove your life. You do the talking, and you face the comments.
Be open to anything in this world, but analyze or rather visualize your options. Don't blame it on God, or rather... anyone! Good day and happy living :)
